This is going to be one of those useless posts, and I know that already because I can think of NOTHING to say right now. I've been starting at this "Compose New Post: Quodlibets" page for hours now, trying to think of something, anything, that might be good to talk about right now. I briefly considered a quarter-season fantasy football update, but most people who are reading this are either in my league, or have heard me bragging about my team's 4-0 record. Which as well all know, is the fastest way to rack up a loss. I would like to point out that I am winning games even without my dud of a 1st RB, Steven Jackson, who first sucked, and is now injured. And undroppable. I'm not saying I'd do it (drop him), but I am saying that if I ever pick 3rd again, I'm going to go with my instincts and shock the entire league and draft who I want, and not who ESPN tells me to draft. I was pretty sure going into the draft that I didn't want Tomlinson, Johnson or Jackson, but felt like I really should just take Jackson. Well, no more, my friends, no more! I'm not drafting any majorly hyped runners unless I think they're worth it. Boo hiss Steven Jackson, boo hiss.
Also, now is as good a time as any to tell ya'll that I'm doing NaBloPoMo again. Because why the hell not? Every day in November, I'll post something. Five days of that will most likely be CA posts--pre-Thanksgiving trip out there--and those are gonna be tough. I can't promise long, but I can promise odes to CA fast food (oh sweet Wahoo's). Also, I promise I won't queue up anything. Because technically, I could start writing November posts now and just bank them, but I absolutely promise I won't. I know it's kind of early to talk about NaBloPoMo now, but hell, I've got nothing else. Sorry if I'm jumping the gun, fellow bloggers. But c'mon, start thinking about it, and if you're gonna do it, let us know.
Personally, I would like to see a quarter-season update. I drafted what seemed, to me, to be a phenomenal team and everyone has either completely sucked or gotten horribly injured. When I saw my team on paper, I was so so very excited that I would do well. Now, I'm 0-4. Playing against you, who have both an excellent record and a strong team. (Which is not always the case in H2H scoring, since last week I only lost by a couple of points and my opponent [your mom] only had 73, but another week I had over 100 points and I lost.) Anyway. I'm just sort of pissed that The People's Elbow has a very good shot at being 0-5.
I've lost the point of this comment.
And I think I'll do NaBloPoMo again, too.
