Here's another reason I'm an old lady: every night after dinner I have to eat my Viactiv caramel calcium chew. Yes, you read that right. Viactiv calcium chews. It's only a matter of time before I start buying orthopedic shoes in hideous murky brown and wearing my sunglasses around my neck on a beaded chain. Also, I'll be sporting a blue rinse next time you see me.
In all seriousness, though, my gynecologist fairly insisted that I add a calcium supplement to my diet because at my age, my bones are still adding density, and need calcium to do it. I'm interested in not breaking when I'm 60, so I decided to take her advice.
However, this does not make me feel any younger.
