Chicago Bears, Bear Down!
Being the pessimistic fan that I am, I don't rate the Bears much chance of winning. I do think that the game can be won at so many points it's silly. The secondary can win the game for the Bears. The pass rush can win the game for the Bears. The offense keeping possession for long amounts of time (thus keeping Peyton Manning on the sidelines) can win the game. All of those things working together? Definitely a win. But personally, I think that's basically a call for perfection, and I just am not sure the Bears have it.
I also thought they would lose both playoff games, though, so what do I know. In fact, on paper, The Saints were, for my money, the more complete team. Apparently, the Bears are hungry, though, because I thought that they simply outplayed what might have been a better team. I'm not sure about Indy, though. I think they come in pretty clearly at the same level as the Bears, minus the ferocious person that is one Peyton Manning. He can sink us, I'm pretty well sure of it.
S refuses to make a pick, saying that he doesn't know, and he refuses to jinx it. Though he did just tell me that he thinks if the Bears play well, they'll win. If they play badly, they'll lose. And then he said, "You just don't know who is going to show up." So in the EfroMano house, apparently the mood is cautious.
Still.
GO BEARS!!!
