Well, there went my car. It's incredibly disheartening to watch your car being loaded onto a tow truck and taken away. It just feels sad. I felt like crying the whole time the tow guy was hooking it up, which may be my period. Or frustration. Or both.
The tow guy confirmed that something bad happened in the engine, and that it had something to do with the fan. Though he also said that might have caused other damage. I won't know what's wrong with it (obviously) until the dealer calls. But the tow guy confirmed that the car isn't driveable like this, and that it absolutely had to go to the dealer. So that makes me feel better.
It's very nice of my car to break down now, mere months after the six year BMW roadside assistance expired. You know, this car has never been easy, when it comes to service, and this is like the icing on the cake. This is another one of those times when I want to shake my fist at the sky and curse the universe for pulling tricks like this.
Sigh.
