It's too preliminary to tell, but it looks like my car might be very badly broken. I have no earthly idea what is wrong with it, but I'm just smart enough to realize that the sounds it is making, coupled with the maniac shaking and icky smell coming out of are enough to spell bad news. Earlier panic (complete with panicked tears) has given way now to forced resignation and miserable worry.
I swear to God, if the car needs more than $500 of work, I'm going to cry for days. Just my luck, right before the holidays, my car decides to be an absolute piece of shit.
