It was a lovely trip, full of good things like very warm pools, cheap shoes and nice meals. Of course, I'm just delighted to be home, because I did miss S. And home always feels good, no matter how long you're away.
Then again, I did come home to the news that another of S's friends is getting married within the next year or so, which makes that 6 weddings between now and next July. I'm not kidding, either. Certainly, I'm happy for all those people getting married, but phew. Six weddings. (And it's VERY possible that there are other people we know will jump on the wedding bandwagon. Very.)
