The Lasagna was good. (That's what the experiment was.) The breaking of the full jar of spaghetti sauce was not good. It was me, I knocked it off the counter and it exploded on the kitchen floor.
And then I cried, while S took complete control of the situation; he made me stop, and sent me to the store for more, and cleaned the whole mess by himself. I can't even tell the internets how wonderful he was tonight, and if you're reading this, dearest, I want you to know that I really, really appreciate how awesomely you took control tonight, and how great it was for you to clean it up alone. You're seriously the best. Seriously, right now, S could win the best boyfriend award.
Also, I happened upon the information that Rufus Wainwright is doing Judy Garland's Concert at Carnegie Hall (from 1961). In its entirety. I looked at the setlist from that show, and I just know that I need to be at that show. Oh, I know it won't happen, but holy worlds, I hope he releases that show on CD afterwards. But honestly, what in the world could be better than seeing Rufus doing Judy? Really.
Back to watching the Oscars. One thing to say: Kudos to Jon Stewart for that opening sequence, which was pretty damn funny. Okay, two things: What the hell is perched on Charlize Theron's shoulder? She has to hold her head to the side so as to not hit it. What a loser dress.
