Because a long, boring day stands in front of me. It's 11:30 and I've got four hours to go. I may have done this meme before, but if I have, I don't remember it. So I'm doing it again. (via Wordmunger, again)
9 lasts:
last cigarette: On December 3rd, at my dad's Xmas party. I had way too many and now I'm holding firm to not having any for a long time.
last beverage: A caffeine-free diet coke this morning.
last kiss: I think I kissed S good-bye this morning.
last movie seen: Does five minutes of a movie count? Probably not. Failure to Launch.
last phone call: I called the dermatologist this morning and was on hold for 20 minutes.
last cd played: CD? Disc 13 of the 16 discs of The Fellowship of the Rings. I'm chipping away at it.
last bubble bath: Ages ago.
last time you cried: Last night.
8 have you evers:
have you ever dated one of your best friends: Yes, I believe I am doing so right now.
have you ever skinny dipped: No.
have you ever kissed somebody and regretted it: Not really.
have you ever fallen in love: Yes. It's lovely.
have you ever lost someone you loved: Family, yes.
have you ever been depressed: Oh yes. Most unpleasant.
have you ever been drunk and thrown up: Um, yes. The last time was in college, but there were at least three times in college. Actually, I think there were only three in college.

1 thing you regret:
1. I don't have regrets. I don't think it's fair for me to constantly second guess myself. Sometimes I make good choices, and sometimes I've made bad ones. My life might be totally different if I would've ended my first relationship sooner, but that's not what I did, and I have to live with that choice. Likewise, I could have applied to more schools than just U of I for grad school, but I didn't. Would it have changed my life? Yes or maybe no, but who can say that if it had it would have been a good change? All the choices I've made put me right here, right now. I get to live with the man I love, and he loves me back. I get to see my family all the time, people I adore. I don't know how I could wish for things to be different, when the inescapable conclusion is that I might not be here right now if things didn't happen as they did. And since I can't know where I would or wouldn't have been otherwise, it seems pointless and self-defeating to regret the things I have or haven't done. Maybe I'm just lucky that I can say this.
