So GW today said that new questions about the pre-war intelligence were "deeply irresponsible." (I saw this on CNN; I didn't actually see the speech that GW gave, because watching GW for even 10 seconds makes me want to hurl something at the TV, and while that might not be bad if you think that TV is evil, I in fact do not, because Rome and Grey's Anatomy are far too good to be evil.)
You know what I think is deeply irresponsible? Leading this country into war (and over 2000 American casualties and unknown, massively large Iraqi casualties) for shits and giggles. Because frankly, the intelligence doesn't make the case for war. Unfortunately for GW, the country seems to be figuring that out. (See this.) And frankly, GW and his government have done so many deeply irresponsible things (led by that asshole from Alaska, at least as far as the pork is concerned) that I'm saddened to see that the pot is once again calling the kettle black--and evil and un-American. When in fact, the kettle is just doing what the kettle is supposed to do in a democracy. Go, kettle, go.
