Sam and I were just talking about an article on CNN.com about John McCain, and how he's come out and criticized Bush again. I've expressed this thought before to Sam, and now I'm going to say it here: If politics is really like football, as Janet has suggested, can the Dems trade Zell Miller to the GOP for McCain?
I like McCain a whole hell of a lot better than I like Zell Miller, and was it just me who thought that McCain gave that speech at the convention through clenched teeth? I feel like McCain distrusts Bush as much as many of us do, and well, I feel like Miller likes him too much for his own (and our own) good. Anyway, to John Kerry, football coach: make the trade, dammit!
